As I turned up to my first Marston's roadshow venue, myself and
Dave had to set up the Living it Loving it exhibition stand. Now,
this may sound a simple task, however it involves setting up a
crime scene (a body outline on the floor). So at 9pm in a random
country conference centre, if anyone had walked into the main room
they would have spotted Dave (the boss) lying on the floor and
being masking taped around by myself! Let's just say it would have
been an awkward one to explain!
We started on the stand at 9am the next day and were straight
away overrun by pubs wanting to know more about Living it Loving
it. With Crime Scene Nights being the main draw, we were taking
details left right and centre. What a great beginning to the
day!
With the show having pub suppliers everywhere, my diet consisted
of hot dogs, pretzels and Belgian waffles. Not that I am
complaining! I was glad to have the food as we didn't stop talking
all day. The hustle and bustle of the day continued on and it was
really great to meet all the landlords and ladies. Everyone really
got into the spirit and was so fun and friendly.
Living it Loving it had a great roadshow and I want to say thank
you to everyone we spoke to! Look forward to letting you know about
great new products.
