Drunken horseplay
A Polish farmer spent a night in jail after he was caught drunk in charge of a horse.
Grzegorz Majewski, 57, was stopped by traffic police as he zig-zagged across streets in Slawa after a drinking session with friends.
A breath test showed he was six times over the limit for driving and he spent a night in cells to sober up before being hit with a fine of £350.
A police spokesman said: "He said he just wanted a bit of fresh air after drinking with friends at his farm - but he was a serious danger to other road users."
