You can now become a fan of Poker in the Pub on Facebook where we will also be publishing news and information as well as upcoming events? By becoming a fan you have the opportunity to also communicate with other like minded players that are not necessarily in your local area. Please help promote the page by inviting all of your friends, family and work colleagues. There will be updates and information on all our regional and national events. We will also be promoting any new pubs that have just joined our league or if you are existing venue with an upcoming event let us know and we will post it for you.
Grosvenor Casino participating in Poker in the PubAs you may already be aware, the Grosvenor Casino in Plymouth is now participating in our league. On Friday 28th August they had their first night with a successful 51 players. Anyone wanting to attend can do so on a Friday night at 8pm. Poker in the ParkOver 20,000 poker players, enthusiasts and bored wives came from all over the UK to join the poker festivities, including free tournaments, live tutorials and the chance to learn from and meet some of poker's most famous faces. Grosvenor Aberdeen has successfull Crime Scene night!On Thursday 27th August the G casino held a crime scene night with 27 players turning up to take part in the fun. The night was a great success and everyone really enjoyed themselves, so much so that they have requested another. Look out for the date of the next one in the coming newsletters! The Welcome InnThe Welcome Inn did their first Crime Scene Night on the 28th August, they had 15 players turn up to participate and the event was a success. For the next night they would choose a different day in order to attract more people but are definately looking forward to doing another. |
