Over the next few weeks the newsletter will be full of new promotions and events that LILI will be hosting, there are quite a few fun things in line.  Keep an eye on the Forums and websites for the up to date information.

Shuffle up and Deal Entertainment Festival

Living it Loving it is currently organising a winter festival called Shuffle Up and Deal. The aim of this tournament is to bring together poker players that are not always given the value tournaments that they need. Not everyone can afford £500+ buy in events so we intend to run a lower cost entry tournament and if successful we will run these across the U/K throughout 2010. We also aim to bring fun and entertainment to the event so we are running several daily cash games in whatever form or limit the players want, there is a Blackjack tournament and we are launching our Crime Scene Christmas special.

We are hopefully going to be offering some bonus tournaments for Poker in the Pub players so keep an eye out for more news and information on this event next week..

New Venues

We have a number of new venues that have recently joined our league. We would like to wish them the best of luck and hope to see them at the next regional finals.  The new venues are as follows:

• Unwind Restaurant in Norwich playing on Thursdays at 20.00
• The George in Kent playing on Mondays at 19.30
• The Friary Arms in Bogner Regis playing on Mondays at 20.00
• Robin Hood Inn in Mansfield playing on Sunday at 20.00
• The Cherry Tree in Plymouth playing on Thursdays at 20.00

You can now become a fan of Poker in the Pub on Facebook where we will also be publishing news and information as well as upcoming events? By becoming a fan you have the opportunity to also communicate with other like minded players that are not necessarily in your local area. Please help promote the page by inviting all of your friends, family and work colleagues.  There will be updates and information on all our regional and national events.  We will also be promoting any new pubs that have just joined our league or if you are existing venue with an upcoming event let us know and we will post it for you.

New venues running Crime Scene nights

Over the next few weeks some new venues hosting Crime Scene Nights:

The Cricketers Inn, Winchester
This venue has sold out, however they do intend to do another.  We will be getting photos and testimonials on this when the venue has done thier night.  For information on their next one please keep an eye out in the newsletter.

The Lopes Arms in Plymouth
The date is to be confirmed, however if you are interested in participating please call our office or the pub on 01752 301411.  These tickets have been selling fast so I advise the sooner you get in contact the better.

B@rplace, Halifax
The date for  this venue is yet to be confirmed however as this will be their second crime scene night and they intend to make it bigger than the first it should be a night not to be missed.
